Mid Century Modern

This project was a full remodel of a mid century modern house that had undergone multiple remodels through the years and a large addition that did not fit the original style of the house nor the Krisana Park neighborhood, which is known for its mid century modern homes. One of the most important design goals was to return the character of the house to the original mid century modern intent. The remodel allowed a full gut of the house to reorganize the floor plan for a modern lifestyle and bring the house together by opening the space in the original footprint with subtle divisions of space, locate the private rooms in the addition and promote the indoor to outdoor connection.
